I worked for Joe at Northrop Gumman/Norden Systems for over 15 years. Early on he taught me how to estimate the hours it would take to perform a task and I still use this skill to this day. Joe was always there to give advice when we had design or system issues and he helped my career by giving me challenging opportunities. Joe was a knowledgeable, fair boss and a good man and it was a pleasure to work for him.
My condolences to his family, the world was a better place with Joe in it.
