I met Joe working at the magic shop in Milford he helped me out when I had a problem and I never told him but Joe and our friend Louis saved my marage by telling me of his life and allowing me to see how foolish I was being. For this I thank you and will never forget you.

To Jon, Jessica and all of the McLeod Family,
I only met Joe once but from what Jon has told me it seems like he had built himself into one hell of a guy and was really reaching his dreams with all he accomplished. I send my deepest sympathies and hope he is looking down now and realizing how much he meant to, and will be missed by, so many people.

To the McLeod Family, may you all find comfort in knowing that friends are near when you need them the most. Time will ease your pain and may memories of Joseph replace your emptiness that you are now feeling.

I am sorry to hear about your brother Jon. Joe and I go way back since Sound School. I wish I was around more before he passed. Because of that, I kind of feel bad. I got busy with school and work, and just disappeared. Joe was a very good kid. Always positive, always there for me when I needed him. Definitely the meaning of a true friend. I still can't believe he is gone from this earth. I don't want you or your family to be sad, just continue to live on his dreams. Keep his dreams alive and take care of his wife. Joe will never be 4gotten. Out of all people, I don't understand why him! Stay strong to family and friends!!

Very often it is difficult to see God's divine plan and most of the time we dont understand why things happen. Its tragic times like these, even though its hard, that we need to have faith in the lord. We should celebrate Joseph's life and take some comfort that he is now back with God.
My sympathy goes out to all of the Mcleod family and friends. Be strong

To Jess and the Mcleod family,
I will miss my friend Joe dearly. I want you all to know how much I cherished his friendship, and I will never forget him. He made the long days at school a little shorter by making us all laugh or doing something crazy. I was very proud of all that he was able to accomplish in his few short years.
My prayers are with you all, and if you ever need anything please call me. Love Erica

Joe will remain one of our most cherished patients. He also "drove us nuts", made us worry and gave us that impish smile that was a constant reminder why we cared so much about him. His life will live on in what he taught us, as a trailblazer for young adults with heart problems, in how we will take care of other patients like him for many years to come. The doctors at Yale express their deep sorrow at his passing but also feel privileged to have known Joe. We already miss him very, very much.

Jessica and the McLeod family,
Joe was a great inspiration through both his drive and talent. He was an example of “you can do whatever you put your mind to”. It definitely made a difference in our lives knowing him. We’ll miss Joe and never forget him. Our sympathies and prayers go out to you.
