Judith Louise Marshall Lewonczyk, age 80, affectionately known as Judy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, in Shelton, Connecticut. Judy was born on August 5, 1945, in Bridgeport, CT to the late Richard and Louise Marshall and predeceased by her husband Hank Lewonczyk and her companion Charles Piwonski.
She is survived by her sister, Valerie Bologna, and her husband, Marty; her nephews, Kyle Hamill and Jonathan Bologna; her niece, Taylor Ferguson, and her husband, Zach; her great-nieces and nephew, Hazuki Hamill, Marnee Ferguson and Theo Ferguson; stepchildren and grandchildren in the Lewonczyk family; and special friends, Cheryl and Dave Cotton, Rosalie Hullette, Jane Prushinski, and Michele and Dana Martin, along with their children, Luc and Natalie.
Judy's family would like to acknowledge the staff at Wesley Heights for their compassionate care and to the residents for the friendship they provided during Judy's time there.
Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Pistey Funeral Home, now located at 2611 Main Street, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Biurial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be private.
