Judith Walewski Obituary

Judith Walewski
Judith Ann Bero Walewski, age 68, of Daytona Beach, FL, entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2025 after her third battle with cancer. Judy was born on July 1, 1956 to Frank and Julie Bero and was the youngest of their five children. Judy's siblings affectionately called her "Bo" or "Bobo." Judy is survived by her loving husband Ken of 44 years, daughter Katie Calzone, son-in-law Bob Calzone, cherished grandson Aidan Calzone, sister Patti (Tony) Yuskis, brother Bill Bero, brother-in-law Greg Vangor, sister-in-law Betty Bero, mother Julie (Bero) Bernaski, and several nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her father Frank Bero, sister Joyce Vangor, brother Wally Bero Sr, and nephews Ben Bero and Wally Bero Jr. Judy loved being Aidan's Mimi and had joy in watching him grow up every day. She loved casino trips, getting her nails done with Katie, visits with her sister Patti, and playing pinochle with her mom Julie and brother Bill. After moving to Florida she took to enjoying frequent trips to the many Disney parks with Ken E. with whom she shared many years full of love and laughter. So much laughter. Judy was born in Bridgeport, CT, grew up in Fairfield, CT and was a member of the Andrew Warde HS class of 1974. When her health allowed Judy attended the United Churh of Christ in Bridgeport, CT and was an active member of the William Penn Association Branch 1. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boston Children's Hospital in Honor of Kaitlyn Rose Pinckney, who was the daughter of one of Judy's special care givers.

Judy and I spent many good times together. One time when we all went to Six Flags on NJ, Judy and I went on a ride that you would never believe that we would do, but together we did it. She was one of my best friends (cousins). Ken and I are the cousins but one time I introduced Judy as my cousin and her husband Ken. They have never let me forget it. Love and prayers to you all.
