Aug. 21, 1960 - Aug. 14, 2017 Julia Krikris, 56, of Milford, beloved wife of Christos Krikris, went home to God surrounded by her family on August 14, 2017. Julia was born on August 21, 1960 in Port Said, Egypt, to Anna Mina and the late Dimitrios Klonaridis.
Julia was the heart of the family; she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose love extended to all of her family and friends. She always took care of others before herself and never failed to bring smiles and laughter to whomever she encountered. Julia enjoyed dancing, drawing, chocolate and feeding the birds. She embraced all that life had to offer and she will truly be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
In addition to her husband and mother, Julia is survived by her sons, Dimitrios Krikris, Giorgos Kostas (Elizabeth) Krikris and Evagelos (Kristi) Krikris; grandchildren, Christos Ioulianos and Panagiotis Anastasios Krikris; brother and sister-in-law, Georgios and Vasiliki Klonaridis; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kostas and Lola Krikris; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Rd., Orange, CT. Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church. Contributions in Julia's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
