Julius Boullosa Obituary

BOULLOSA Mr. Julius F. Boullosa Jr., age 87 of Milford, beloved husband of the late Stephanie Yusko Boullosa, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 AT the Golden Hill Health Center, Milford. Son of the late Julius and Ethel Chalevy Boullosa, he was born May 29, 1920 in Manhattan, N.Y. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. A supervisor of the Melt Shop at the former Carpenter Tech in Bridgeport, he retired after 44 years of service in 1984. Mr. Boullosa was a very active member of the St. Mary parish in Milford, he helped found the church folk group, was a Eucharistic Minister, usher, lay reader, and helped in any way he could. He was the devoted father of Christine Brown and her husband, Gary of Milford; he also leaves a brother, George Boullosa of Santa Fe, N.M., and six grandchildren, James Boullosa, David Boullosa and his wife Bernadette, Michael Brown, Stephanie Boullosa, and David and Thomas Brown. He is also survived by a great-grandson, Jason Boullosa; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Boullosa; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, James Boullosa, who died in 1988. Funeral from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford, Friday, May 9, 2008 at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Milford. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford.
