Kathleen Pinto Obituary

Pinto, Kathleen V.
Kathleen V. Mulhern Pinto, age 71 of Trumbull passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Vincenzo V. Pinto. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late James and Angela Hill Mulhern and lived in Stamford before moving to Trumbull 49 years ago. During her earlier career, Kathleen worked as a secretary at St. Vincent's Hospital. Survivors include her husband Vincenzo, her sister, Sr. Anna Mary Mulhern, her loving children, William Pinto, Christine Alix and her husband Ed, and Kevin Pinto and his wife Shannon. She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Dylan, Charlotte, Katelyn and Ryan. We would like to thank all of the beautiful and caring staff, nurses, and doctors that took such great care of our loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and friend. She always led from the front, believing in "actions not words" which included her 11 year battle with cancer while never once complaining. Kathy loved her husband, grandchildren and her family and they brought her much comfort and joy. She was an amazingly caring and selfless person to everyone she came in contact with. We love you!! You will always be with us!! At the request of the family funeral services will be private. If you wish to make a donation in her memory please make a contribution to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or SWIM Across the Sound http://give.stvincents.org/swimacrossthesound.
