Kazimierz Cisiewicz Obituary

CISIEWICZ Kazimierz Cisiewicz, age 70 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. Vincent's Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his devoted wife, caring children and his grandchildren who meant the world to him. He was born in Poland, February 17, 1938 and moved to the United States in 1984. He served in the Polish Army and was a retired machinist at Delta-Ray Ind. He was predeceased by his parents, Teofil and Anna Wicik Cisiewicz. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and offering his help in any way that he could. He was also predeceased by his son, Waldemar Cisiewicz and his granddaughter, Al-dona Cisiewicz. He left behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Krystyna Czarnowska Cisiewicz; grandson, Daniel Cisiewicz; loving daughter, Grazyna Karpinski and her husband, Slawomir of Trumbull, their children, Adam and Natalie. He will be missed by Donna Kochman of Vernon, N.J. whom he raised as his own daughter, along with her husband, Waldemar, their children, Alex and Philip. He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Daniela Brakoniecka and her husband, Edward of Stamford and their children, along with Maria Lusinska and her husband, Stanislaw of Bridgeport and their children; his nephew, Robert Cisiewicz of Stratford and his niece, Malgorzata Jurkowski of Seymour, along with their families. His warm heart and kind smile will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. His family would like to acknowledge the doctors at St. Vincent's Medical Center and the nurses in the SICU for all of their care and support. Also, his cardiologist, Dr. Charles Landau, who helped him live longer and a more full-filling life with his family. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Pulaski Street, Bridgeport. Interment in Long Hill Burial Grounds in Trumbull. Calling hours are Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill-Rado-zycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line). I didn't really know Kazimierz, but I spoke to him a few times at the Long Hill Burial ground where he took such good and loving care of his son, Waldemar's grave. You could tell that he was really heartbroken due to this loss. I know that he is in heaven now with him and the other members of his family that have gone before him. God Bless him and keep him.
