Kenneth W. Nevers, age 82, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Teaneck, New Jersey, son of the late George D. Nevers and Janice May (Bither) Nevers. Ken grew up in Stratford and later moved to Seymour with his family where he was a resident for many years. Ken enjoyed time spent on the water, gardening, bird watching and was a lifelong train enthusiast. Ken's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He leaves behind to love and cherish his memory, four sons, George D. Nevers and his wife Kristine, Michael W. Nevers, Ronald G. Nevers and his wife Melva and Christopher C. Nevers, his nine grandchildren Tyler, Zachary, Alexa, Michael, Nicholas, Ryan, Christopher, Jr., Jeremy, and Nathan, and one great-grandchild Jackson, his brother Robert, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Ken was predeceased by his loving wife, Anna, of 52 years and three sisters and one brother. Services for Ken will be held at the family's convenience and announced at a later date.

My husband and Ken knew each other since childhood and worked together for several years. There are many fun and happy memories of our families getting together. Ken always had a smile and was a very kind soul. My husband, Ken's friend passed away on June 27, the day before Ken's passing. God bless you, Ken. Prayers and condolences go out to his family.
