Kevin Kuczo Obituary

Kevin James Kuczo
It is with great sadness that his family shares the passing of Kevin James Kuczo, 17, of Fairfield, Connecticut, on February 4, 2021.
The beloved son of James and Kristen O'Rourke Kuczo and big brother to William John Kuczo, Kevin was born on January 21, 2004 in Norwalk. A junior at Fairfield Warde High School, Kevin participated on the lacrosse and football programs and enjoyed being a part of a team. Kevin had a beautiful smile that touched people and a big heart. He enjoyed volunteering and had recently participated in the ASP and SASO programs. When asked what he wanted to do in his life, he would reply that he wanted to do something that helped people. Kevin was an avid skier and loved camping at the family lake house in Canada. He loved the two family Labrador Retrievers, Obi and Chewy.
In addition to his parents, Kristen O'Rourke Kuczo and James P. Kuczo; his brother, William John Kuczo (14), Kevin's memory will be cherished by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Ann O'Rourke of Pawleys Island, SC; his paternal grandparents, John and Leonora Kuczo of Norwalk; his aunts and uncles,Todd and Megan Agee, Jennifer O'Rourke, Rob and Alison Laney, John and Diane Kuczo, Andrew and MariBeth Kuczo; many loving cousins; as well as the Kuczo family pet, Chewy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center (Mask wearing and social distancing will be observed). All other services will be private.
Kevin was battling depression and is finally at peace. He will be forever loved and forever remembered.
The Kuczo family would prefer contributions in Kevin's memory to: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.namifairfield.org), or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (www.AFSP.org/chapter/Connecticut).
