This is such a difficult holiday weekend because the memory is so difficult to reconcile, so we try to put that aside and focus only on the beautiful little girl who was our granddaughter. We never stop thinking about you, Kylie Beth, our horse and dog loving little one always excited about new adventures, especially if they involved a dog or a horse. We love you so very much

Today is one of the saddest days in history. We remember all the people that died on 9-11 and their families.
Sadder still because one year ago today we said goodbye to you and mommy. I miss your hugs and kisses always so generous, I miss your phone calls about everything, I miss “I love you grandma”, I miss that great smile,
I miss spooning in the morning cuddling & giggling , I miss the little voice from your bedroom in the middle of the night when you slept over. I miss blow drying your hair, I miss making you special eggs, I miss your laughter, I could write volumes of what I miss they are treasured memories now and I go to that “treasure store” often. I love you and miss you every minute of every day.

Today we dedicated your bench at Camp Katoya. We made stepping stones with pretty rocks and angels and horses and things you like. Now every little girl that sits on your bench will know a little about you. All the little girls that get to go to camp in your memory can sit on your bench and look at your stones and remember you.We all remember you and think about you every day.

Kylie, Friday was my birthday and I thought of all the birthdays you spent with me blowing out my candles and opening my presents. I missed you today as every day. I have that great hat I bought you the last time we went to Friendly's for dinner. What a great hat!!! I also have the picture of you that mommy took with you and Demos with the hat on I put that picture in the photo album. I love you Kylie and I miss you so much. Even though we have never met,we share the love of a special horse named Mandy. One year your mom sent me a Christmas card of you sitting on Mandy with a big wreath around her neck. I have always treasured that card. I feel so badly for your Grandma, Martha. My love, prayers and best wishes go out to her.
