It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leroy A. Conlogue (Dad), who passed away on April 21st, 2022, at the age of 83, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley "Ma" Conlogue; and his daughter, LeAnne Arnold. Leroy is survived by his sister, Charlene Hughes; his children, Roxanne Field, Amanda Conlogue, Leroy Conlogue, Rebecca Conlogue and Tammy Conlogue; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dad was a humble man; he never liked to be the center of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn't want us to focus on him. He wouldn't want us to focus on the sadness of his death, but instead focus on the happiness in our lives. He would want us to appreciate each other and our future. Dad will always be remembered by those of us who knew him and loved him. We will miss him, his laugh, his pranks, his humor and his love but we have comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and reunited with the love of his life.
