Lillian Grimaldi Obituary

GRIMALDI Lillian Grimaldi, age 89, of Norwalk, died Saturday, October 29, 2005, at her home. She was the wife of 52 years of the late John G. Grimaldi. Mrs. Grimaldi was born in Yonkers, N.Y., January 30, 1916, daughter of the late George and Anna Kerekes Komlosy. and has lived in Norwalk since 1957. She was a graduate of Yonkers High School and was a licensed real estate broker with Beacon Realty in Norwalk. She was also a former office manager, bookkeeper and switchboard operator for Sears and Vectron Labs. In 1986 Mrs. Grimaldi was a witness for the U.S. Senate Hearings for the Aging. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and had been a volunteer at the Norwalk Health Department. She loved spending her time with her adoring family and also enjoyed cooking and shopping. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Raguseo and her husband. Gerald. of Weston; a son, Michael Grimaldi and his wife. Cynthia. of Fairfield; grandchildren. James Raguseo, Kathryn Raguseo, Dana Grimaldi Aylward and her husband. Christopher, and Daniel Grimaldi; a great-granddaughter. Emilie Layne Aylward; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, George and Julius Komlosy. Services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 10:30 a.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT, 06492-1800
