Linda Bertolini Obituary

BERTOLINI Linda A. Formica Bertolini of Shelton, beloved wife of 33 years to Peter Bertolini, died Thursday, November 9, 2006. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Dr. Joseph J. Formica and Lorraine J. Negrola Formica of New Britain. A resident of Shelton for the past 27 years, Linda was a kind and caring person volunteering her time and efforts to St. Joseph-s Church and at currently St. Lawrence Church. She was a former assistant bank manager for the Bayside Bank of New York. Survivors also include her children, Peter J. Bertolini and his wife, Carmen, of Maryland and twin daughters, Lisa Ann and Lorraine Elizabeth Bertolini, both of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Dr. Nicholas Bruce Formica and wife, Paula, of New Britain and Rev. Robert Charles Formica and wife, Karen of Florida; a sister, Elizabeth Jane Thaler and husband, Timothy, of Vermont; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to go DIRECTLY to St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton on Monday at 11 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Calling hours are on Sunday (TODAY) from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport ( on the Trumbull line). In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Linda.
