Loretta worked for the Los Angeles County Public Health Department until she retired in 1993.
Upon retirement, Loretta moved to San Felipe, Baja California where she developed precious friendships, participated in communal activities, and volunteered her time and efforts to serving the community at large.

Mom, miss you every day. Thought I'd share this photo. Dad's graduation from Muhlenburg College. Wondering what you and my grandparents were laughing about. You had the best laugh and gorgeous smile. Love you.

There's always something that makes me remember her, a Frank Sinatra song, a certain activity at the ranch that she liked, a certain place in the desert, a bright red dune-buggy; always a special place in my heart. Made me feel like part of the family as well as her 3 beautiful daughters. I will always be thankful. Can't believe it's been 8 years already. I have the quilt with her name over my bed that she made. Big tight hug to all of you!

A wonderful person, a wonderful mother. Loved you since day one when we met in May of 1993. I knew you were going to be special; a special Mom by choice...
