Forte, Loretta A.
Loretta Antonia Forte, age 90, of Trumbull, formerly of Stratford, joined her late beloved husband of 64 years, Mario J. Forte on Wednesday, August 20 2014. Loretta passed peacefully in her sleep at her residence in Trumbull. Born in Pennsylvania on October 30, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Nancy D'Angelo. Her husband and family were the center of her life, and her pride and love for them showed in all the stories she told. She was also blessed to have many treasured friends throughout her life. She is survived by her loving daughters, Livia Pulitano, Joann Forte Smithbaker, Nancy Forte Dugay and husband John Dugay, and Lori Forte Harnick and husband Blake Harnick, her seven grandchildren, Louis Pulitano, Lisa Pulitano, T.J. Dugay, Julianne Dugay, Anthony Dugay, Cara Harnick, Bryce Harnick, one great grandchild, Louis Anthony Pulitano, her loving brother, Domenico D'Angelo, her son-in-law, Lou Pulitano, her nephews, Tony D'Angelo and family, and John D'Angelo and family and her niece, Candy Perusi and family. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Entombment in St. Michael Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00PM to 6:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford CT., 06614 in memory of Loretta.
