Louis A. Rodi
Louis A. Rodi age 92 of Bridgeport beloved husband of Tina Marella Morawski Rodi, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, in St. Vincent Medical Center. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son Louis A. Rodi, III, and wife Gena, granddaughter Cindy, stepchildren Lisa D'Agostino, Richard Morawski, Doreen, Morawski, and Tricia Morawski, a sister Lillian Haurilak and husband Sam, a brother John Rodi, a brother-in-law Mike Marella and wife Kathy and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Sal Rodi. Lou served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1954, US Army Sergeant First Class Airborne Ranger, 187th Airborne, 2nd Ranger. Lou played softball and managed the teams for Allison Company and Avery Abrasives. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Grand Knight for two terms. Lou was a member of the American Legion in Fairfield and Port 5 in Bridgeport. He graduated from Harding High School and attended Fairfield University. He retired from Nature Plus as plant manager. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 17, at 10:30 a.m., meeting directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
