Louise Yitts Obituary

YITTS Louise Irene Yitts, age 75, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Laughlin) Yitts. Louise was a graduate of Central High School and was a retired employee of the Bassick Co. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Robert Yitts; and sisters, Dorothy Yitts and Gertrude Cocca. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Manella; two grandchildren; her brother, Louis Yitts of Trumbull; her sister, Stella Pellino of Bridgeport; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial Mass on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, in St. Theresa Church, Main Street, Trumbull, at 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service in Lakeview Cemetery, Boston Avenue, Bridgeport. The Parente Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, has been entrusted with arrangements.

I was so sorry to read that Louise had passed away I used to work with her at the Bassick Company back in 1964. She was a wonderful friend and a wonderful person to work with.
