Manuel Cazar Obituary

BALAREZO Manuel Ignacio Balarezo Cazar, age 60, of Bridgeport, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Manuel was a native of Ecuador, but came to the United States more than 40 years ago. He was known for being the founder of the Cubariquea Bakery, where so many enjoyed his Spanish warm bread for more than 18 years. Manuel was the loving husband of Dolores Guadalupe Balarezo for more than 30 years. Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Luis Danilo Balarezo of Bridgeport; his two daughters, Roxana Petita Balarezo and Dolores Ximen Balarezo, both of Bridgeport; his sister, Rosa Amanda Balarezo of Bridgeport; four grandchildren; and many many friends who will remember him forever. Friends are invited to attend the funeral for Manuel on Friday, June 18, 2004, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Church at 9 a.m. Final services will be private. Friends may attend calling hours on Thursday (TODAY), June 17, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Please sign on to: www.luzdepaz.com and sign our online guestbook.
