Dear Weldon Family -
I just came across your sweet Mom's obit. Growing up next door to "The Weldons" was so intriguing. I have endless great memories, especially this time of year, thinking back onto innocent & fun times when we shared our back yards & played all sorts of games with the neighborhood kids of all ages.
Being 2 yrs younger than Eileen, I never knew Frank, Billy, Mary or Patty as well ---they were "so grown up"- but I do recall some of the major events in their lives.
Such a great family & neighbors; my folks were so fond of Marion & Frank. They had much fun socially together I'd say. Lots of laughter.
I remember Marion so well- I've always wondered about her, as I knew she was a bit senior to my parents. She was always the most elegant, loveliest & kindest Lady. She reminded me of Royalty, seriously. Her beautiful smile was so inviting and friendly.
It's wonderful that she had the experience of seeing her family marry and have children. My Dad has been gone 10 years, and my Mom left us 32 years ago. My fraternal twin girls are now 30 & recently married. My son is 25 & always takes advantage of the Great Outdoors in W Montana.
I wish your family much peace. I would have attended your Mom's services, had I known.
Best,
Lorraine St.John

I was so sorry that I was unable to attend the mass on Thursday. I have nothing but fond memories of such a wonderful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Weldon family.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

We shared the balcony with Marion at Watermark. We knew her when she went to monthly Mass in our chapel. She was there walker and all needing no help in spite of her macular. She had lovely flowers on her balcony. We knew her as a lovely person and remember her in our prayers. God Rest her in Peace. Bob Bruckmann Apt 5-W-2

I am very sorry for your loss, may God comfort your family during this difficult time. Psalm 86:7

Tim O'Reilly,
Aunt Marion was the last of her generation of our family. I have such wonderful memories of her going back over 70 years. She and Uncle Frank visited with our family in Newport and we went to Norwalk to see them, and Grandmother Dana who lived with the Weldons in her later years.
It was a warm and loving house, full of fun and young rug rats. But, Uncle Frank ruled, and we all toed the line when he spoke up. Over the years Marion has been a constant in the large O'Reilly clan, and wonderful to see for family gatherings. She was deeply loved, returning the love she gave out so generously. She will be missed by all of us.
God Bless Aunt Marion, and Uncle Frank,
Tim
