Mark Andrew Scribe, born Oct. 21, 1960, entered his eternal resting place, Dec. 8, 2024. The cherished husband of Karen (Lucas) Scribe for 42 years, father to Matthew, and Kimberly (J. Valenti), granddaughters Liliana and Adalyn, who lovingly called him Bampa. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Janet Scribe. He will be missed by his sisters, Christine Wesche (Kevin) and Sandra Lavoy (Tim), his mother and father-in-law Geraldine and Robert Lucas, 12 nieces and nephews, 10 grandnieces and nephews and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mark graduated from Western New England College as an Electrical Engineer and committed his professional life to Pitney Bowes. He and Karen were avid campers and loved exploring the country. They traveled the USA and beyond, and had plans for so much more.
Mark relished his toys: his Harley, BMW convertible, and snowmobile to name a few. He was a soccer coach, golfer, snowmobiler, tinkerer, coffee, wine, and bourbon connoisseur, a food aficionado, and so much more. Mark looked forward to family vacations and fun-filled adventures he planned with Karen. But the role he loved most was that of a family man: a husband, father, Bampa, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and host. A man who was full of life with so much to share. Visitation will be on Dec. 12, 2024, from 5pm - 8pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. N., Southbury. A Mass will be Friday, Dec. 13, 2024, at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. S, Southbury. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.
