Mark Steinfeld Obituary
Mark Harold Steinfeld, 52, of Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, with his loving family by his side.
Mark was born in Bridgeport, CT to Nathan and Linda Herman Steinfeld. He graduated from Andrew Warde High School. He was a gifted baseball player and was invited to pitching tryouts twice for the NY Mets. He was an all-star baseball player, and at the age of 9, made the little league majors. Mark worked for Port Jefferson Ferry and Executive Landscape and Design for many years. He will be missed dearly.
Mark is survived by his devoted father Nathan and his partner Rebecca, adored niece Maci and her mother Kathy, and his loving aunts Diane, Bonnie, Cathy, Amy, Lydia, Theresa, and uncle, Jan Murray. He was predeceased by his mother, Linda Herman Steinfeld, and brother, Michael Steinfeld.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, with interment following at B'nai Israel Cemetery, 472 Moose Hill Rd., Monroe. For more information and to share a condolence message, visit www.greensfuneralhome.com .
