I did not know Marty personally, but often spoke to him and Marty Kane Sr. when I frequented the family store, located around the corner from my home. I also got to know Meg well, when she catered for Casey Family Services.
Meg, you and your entire family have my deepest sympathy.
God Bless you all!

I am so sorry for your loss. I used to go to Marty Kane's all the time when I was younger with my father. Marty was a great guy! He knew all his customers by name.

Dear Kane Family:
I am sorry to learn of Marty's passing. My thoughts and sympathies are with you. Thinking of Marty brought me right back to the days in the 80's working at the store, it was fun. My best to you all.

To Marty's family:
We would like to express our sadness on the death of your dad. Marty was a roommate of our father/grandfather (Joseph Poste) at Hospice, and although it wasn't for a long period of time, we all grew fond of Marty and thought of him often.
So, please accept our sympathy and know that you are all in our prayers and thoughts at this time.
Sincerely,
Guy and Debbie Smith and family.

I'm stunned to learn of Marty Jr.'s passing. I recall him as a caring, funny man who once delivered my daily coffee (in a thermos!) to my home when I had surgery and was homebound for a week. I hope his memory is a blessing and a comfort to you all.
