Mary Napoli Obituary

NAPOLI Mary Grace Caputo Napoli of Stratford, the beloved wife of Anthony Napoli Sr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2010 in her home with her loving family by her side. Mary was born in Bridgeport on July 2, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Rose Turziano Caputo. She was a die-hard New York Yankee Fan, enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, watching Jai-Alai in Milford, cooking and most of all, giving her love and talents to so many others, without ever asking for anything in return. In addition to her devoted husband, Anthony of fifty-six years, she is also survived by her son, Anthony Napoli Jr. and his wife, Linda Souza Napoli of W. Palm Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Rose Marie Napoli of Newport, R.I.; two brothers, Louis Caputo and his wife, Vicki of West Haven, and Alphonse Caputo and his wife, Cheryl of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Tina Caputo of W. Haven; three grandchildren, Katrina, Jessica, Joey; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 9 a.m. in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, Lordship section of Stratford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home on Tuesday (TODAY) from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute to Bridgeport Hospice Team, 765 Fairfield Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06604, St. Jude's Children Hospital, P.O.
