Mary Niedzwiecki Obituary

NIEDZWIECKI Mary Maciora Niedzwiecki, age 79, beloved wife of the late Henry Niedzwiecki, died peacefully on Friday, July 2, 2004. Born in Clinton, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Maciora. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Mary was a former employee of the Connecticut Post and had currently worked at Stop & Shop until she became ill. A parishioner of St. Michael0s Parish, she was a former member of the Columbietts. She kept busy being a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Patricia N. Kodz, and her husband, Gregory Kodz Sr., three grandchildren, Victoria L., Michelle L., and Gregory Kodz Jr, all of Shelton; and three sisters, Helen Lysak and her late husband, John Lysak of Sellersville, Pa. and Stephanie Palladino and her husband, Rudy of Norwalk, Bertha Niedzwiecki and her husband and brother-in-law, Law Joseph of Bridgeport; and a brother-in-law, John Niedzwiecki and his wife, Helen of Fairfield; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to go "Directly" to St. Michael the Archangel Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Internment in Saint Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Commerce Hill-Radozycki Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Norman P. Phriem Cancer Center at Bridgeport Hospital or The American Cancer Society.
