Mary Pedwano Obituary
Mary Tallerico Pedwano, age 93, of Shelton, passed away May 18, 2013 in her home. Mrs. Pedwano was born in Stamford, CT to the late Frank and Josephine Tallerico. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and crocheting but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Pedwano; her son Joseph Pedwano; her sisters Frances Glionna and Mildred Piro and her brother Peter Tallerico. She is survived by her devoted daughters Rosemary Buchta and her husband Jack and Suzanne Kosma and her husband Hank all of Shelton; her loving grandchildren Karen Martin and her husband Edward, Jennifer Meyers and her husband Steven, Janis Covey and her husband Marc, and Michael Kosma; cherished great grandchildren Steven, Amanda, and Adriana Meyers, and Morgan and Cameron Covey, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Burial on Tuesday, May 28 at 11:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery Greenwich, CT. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent's Medical Center Congestive Heart Failure Clinic 2800 Main St. Bridgeport CT 06606.

I lived across the street from Mary for over 8 years, she brought us her wonderful braided bread and butter cookies on Easter and she made all 3 of my boys matching afghans, she will be remembered for her heart of gold and her beautiful, warm smile our heartfelt condolences to her family.

What a special lady! Her smile and infectious laugh could light up a room and fill me with so much joy.
My condolences Rosemary & Jack, Suzanne & Hank, and all my cousins. You are all in our thoughts, and we send you love.
Give a kiss to everyone in heaven for me Aunt Mary. I'll miss you, but will see you again someday, and what a party we'll have!

So sorry to hear about Nanny passing. I'm so happy she got to spend time with the kids. Her thoughtfulness will be remembered. She made Kayla an afghan her first year with the family just like I think she did for the other kids.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. My condolences Rosemary, Suzanne and family. At least we know there is a large contingent up in heaven welcoming her there.

Rosemary, all my sympathy to you and Suzanne. I remember bible street and visiting you when we were young. Your mom was always very kind to me. If iwas closer I would attend the services. Wishing you peace.
