Mary Silos Obituary
Mary Jane (Holst) Silos, age 63, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, died Friday November 24, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. Mary Jane was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. She was an employee for the Carolton Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield for over 35 years. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Silos Sr., and her parents George Holst and Helen Politi. She is survived by her two sons: Sean Silos and Paul Silos Jr., both of Bridgeport, and her life partner Jack Best, of Bridgeport, a granddaughter Krista, and special niece Lisa Ciambriello. Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kennedy Center, 2440 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull, CT 06611. To light a candle or leave a condolence online go to www.larsonfh.com.
