Mattie Orticari

ORTICARI Mattie (Matilda) (Angiolillo) Orticari, age 85 of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late Louis Orticari, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 19, 2012 in Maefair Health Care Center, Trumbull with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Josephine (Buchicchio) Angiolillo, and was a Bridgeport resident all of her life. She was a retired waitress of Marnick's Restaurant in Lordship. Mattie was an excellent cook and every Saturday she opened her home to all who would come. Survivors include her beloved children, John Orticari, Carol Orticari and partner Debra Castelluccio, her sister, Lee Cusano, her brother, Anthony Angiolillo, and a brother-in-law, Nicholas Quattone and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters and two brothers. The family would like to give a special thanks to the 3rd floor of Maefair Health Care for their love and care of Mattie. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport and at 10:00 AM in St. Margaret's Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial.
