Michael Burdge Obituary

Burdge, Michael A.
Michael Anthony Burdge, age 52, of Cartersville, Georgia, died at his home after a long illness with kidney disease on January 10, 2013. He lived in Stratford before relocating to Georgia, a graduate of Bunnell High School. He was a journeyman toolmaker at Carson Tool & Die in Georgia . Michael was a faithful Jehovah's Witness, being baptized in 1978, and a member of East Cartersville Congregation. He served briefly at the headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, until his illness. Michael was an excellent public speaker and gave many encouraging Bible talks which he loved to do and to teach others Bible truths. He loved classic cars and restored a few, also restoring antique farm equipment and engines. He is survived by his wife, Aurelia, his mother, Diane Burdge,and two brothers, Scott and his wife Sherry Burdge, and Todd and his wife Ally Burdge, and a niece Rachel Burdge all of Cartersville, Ga. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Burdge. A memorial talk will be given January 19, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall in Cartersville.

Burdge Family:
I was saddened to read of Mikes' passing.It was a pleasure to know him as a co-worker when I worked at Straton a long time ago. He was always interesting to talk with and ended every conversation with that bright smile. Deepest sympathy.
