To the Davitt Family, As a member of the Bio-Med team in the O.R., I had the pleasure of working with Mike , where we would join forces to resolve problems that would arise related to Central Sterile Supply and Bio-Med. Mike was always a bright spot in the day with his easy going manner and smile. He often stopped in just for a quick chit chat and we'd share some laughs. He was always good for that, taking the edge off of those stressful days.
May your family find comfort in knowing what a good man he was and knowing how warmly he affected those around him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To the Davitt family, your husband and father was a great man. His dedication to his family was greatly admired by me. His dedication to his job and co-workers was evident everyday. Even when I left Yale, he was a positive supportive friend, and I will miss him dearly. Godbless the Davitt family, and God shall have a great Angel by his side.

Davitt Family:
My deepest condolences for your recent lost. I worked with Mike for many years at Yale and stayed in contact with him after my tenure has past. Mike taught me quite about our armed forces that I never knew about, he taught me about people skills that I used to this day… and he taught me about Saab cars, which I never asked for. Mike and I had a great relationship and things that he has taught me will be with me forever. Which mean that Mike will live forever in each one of us...
God bless you Mike and the remainder of the Davitt family.

Sean, Patrick, & Pat,
I shared an office with Mike for around 7 years. In that time, I have come to know you all very well. Patch and Sean your Dad adored you and lived every moment of his life for you. He was so proud of everything you guys ever did. Continue to live your lives as if he will always be with you, because he will always be there. You are so lucky to have had him for the short time you did. Some people wait a lifetime to be loved as much as he loved you both. Pat, he was a good man. Gave to everyone without expecting anything in return. I could never have repaid him for being such a good friend to me. You've been through so much in these past few years. I will continue to pray for the Lord to guide you and help you through this difficult time. You have two great boys to lean on for comfort. If you need anything at all, I am just a phone call away. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Pat, Sean & Patrick,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. Mike was a dear friend and colleague to us both and we will miss him terribly. So many things can be said about Mike, but what comes to mind first is his love for his family. We feel blessed to have known him.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
With deepest sympathy,

Dear Pat, Sean and Patrick,
Please accept our sincere condolences. "The tide recedes, butleaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrain...for every joy that passes, something beautiful remains." May Mike's love always keep you warm and remain in your hearts.
