Michael Rea Obituary
Michael Anthony Rea, Jr., age 26, of Orange passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born in Milford to Kathryn Newkirk and Michael Anthony Rea, Sr. on April 15, 1989. He attended Platt Technical High School in Milford before he graduated Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge. He spent many hours fishing, which was his favorite hobby and proudly worked for Encon Inc. of Stratford. He was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
In addition to parents, he is survived by his fiancé Rachel Howard, sister; Nicole Rea of Naugatuck, niece; Brielle Pellegrino, maternal grandparents; Robert and Judith Newkirk of West Haven, Donald and Gearldine Wynkoop of Lusby, MD, stepbrother; Sean Nash, stepsister; Crysta Nash, stepmother; Joy Delfranco-Rea, lifelong friends; William Pedersen and Darrin Amore, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Mary and Anthony Rea.
Family and friends are invited to Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street Milford, on Sunday, July 19th from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Funeral Service will be at Smith Funeral Home, Milford at 10:00 am on Monday, July 20th. Interment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave, Milford.
