Michael Scarpa Obituary
Michael Scarpa, age 65, of Derby entered into rest on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Griffin Hospital. He was born in Derby on February 3, 1950, son of the late Salvatore A. and Mildred Mary (DiRienzo) Scarpa and was a Derby resident for most of his life. Michael was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Trumbull. He was a former employee for the Defense Contract Audit Agency for the Federal Government. Michael is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St.,Derby. His funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. His burial will be at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences at www.adzimafh.com.

Rest in Peace Michael. I remember how much you loved to garden. You made the best sauce with those tomatoes. You also had a fig tree in the middle of your garden. You loved your fish tanks too. You were a really funny guy and a great cook! Rest in Peace, you are with our Lord and Savior!
