Michael George Shulick, age 49, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024, at Bristol Hospital. Michael was born in Bridgeport on January 3, 1975, beloved son of George and Sandra (Ciaffone) Shulick and has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1996, and enjoyed spending time at Harborview Adult Day Center in Stratford. Michael enjoyed playing video games on the computer and also playing Super Mario Bros. on the TV. Michael had a love for music and enjoyed singing karaoke to songs by his favorite singer Barry Manilow. The family would like to thank everyone at Village Green in Bristol for the wonderful care he received while he was there. Also, thank you to Elaine Lewis for the loving home care he received for the years prior to his illness. And thank everyone at Bristol Hospital that gave him comforting care and to the family during their difficult time. Michael was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be sadly missed. Survivors in addition to his beloved parents, include his grandmother, Doris Ciaffone. Michael was pre-deceased by his cherished sister, Karen Lynn, maternal grandfather, Michael Ciaffone, paternal grandparents, George and Helen Shulick and uncle, Joseph Shulick. Visitation on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23rd, at 10:30 a.m., meeting directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 498 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford.
