Mildred Condon Obituary

CONDON Mildred L. Condon, age 92, of Ashlar Village, Wallingford, died on Saturday, December 25, 2004, at Hartford Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Anthony Condon. Born in West Haven, on July 16, 1912, daughter of the late Gustav C. and Harriet R. Miller Linke. She was a member of the OES Marie Lafayette Chapter of Fairfield, the Fayer Weather Yacht Club, Bridgeport and Trinity Episcopal Church, Southport. Mother of Joan Piercey of Granby, Elizabeth Condon of Raleigh, N.C., John R. Condon of Shelton. Sister of Marion Frith and Raymond Linke, both of Hamden, Arline L. Morgan of Wallingford, and the late Charles Linke. Also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden. The visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, 22 Masonic Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492 or the Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 400 Southport, CT 06490. A memorial service will be held in the Trinity Episcopal Church, Southport at a later date.
