Mildred Reisel Obituary

Reisel, Mildred E.
Mildred E. (Koos) Reisel, 102, formerly of Bridgeport, CT died peacefully on January 25th at Independent Living Facility in Pepperell, MA in the company of her daughter. Mildred was born on August 18, 1911, a daughter of the late Clara (Victorsen) and Anton Koos. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Charles Reisel and by her six siblings, a twin sister, Mame Sarambo and brothers Ralph, Erling, Walter, Henry and Robert Koos. Mildred grew up in Bridgeport and she and Charles raised their family in Cedar Grove, NJ and Bridgeport, CT.
Mildred was a devoted wife and mother who took pride in her home and family. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Black Rock and while there was a member of Martha's Circle. Mildred enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and crafts such as folk painting. She was an avid reader and puzzle maker. Mildred and Charles retired to Kenneth City, FL and after his death she returned home to Bridgeport. Mildred spent the last twelve years of her life with her daughter Nancy in Brookline, NH and at Independent Living in Pepperll, MA. Her greatest joy in her later years was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Nancy Zadravec and her husband Edward Zadravec of Brookline, NH, her son, Charles Reisel and his wife Judy Reisel of Hawley, PA; six grandchildren, Edward Zadravec and his wife, Kerry Fagan of Shrewsbury, MA, Charles Zadravec and his wife Christina of Fairfield, CT, Stephen Zadravec and his wife Jennifer of Portsmouth, NH, Eric Zadravec and his wife Lisa of Fairfield,CT, Todd Reisel and his wife Christine of Bethlehem, CT and Kirsten Drozd and her husband Chris of Huntersville NC; 13 great-grandchildren, Devinne, Alex, Steve, Rhianna, Erika, Cailin, Madison, Cameron, Chloe and Natasha Zadravec and Brayden, Jamison and Liam Drozd.Children's Services, 72 East Dedham St., Boston, MA 02118, Attn: Patricia Fries, Financial Director.
