Nancy (Smith) Keese
Nancy Mary (Smith) Keese, age 90, of Trumbull, CT passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Frank and Hazel Smith. Nancy was a proud 1951 graduate of Lauralton Hall and was a secretary at Singer's Manufacturing in Bridgeport, CT before she left to raise her three daughters. When her daughters were raised she worked part-time at Macy's Department Store until her retirement.
She will be greatly missed by her family who was of utmost importance to her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Ralph Keese; devoted daughters Sharon Tilley and her husband Jack, Susan Keese, and Sally Ferri and her husband Jeffrey; cherished grandchildren Jonathan, Sarah, Matthew and Meghan; her treasured sister-in-law Diane Smith; nieces and nephews Donald Smith Jr., Julie Smith DeMaio, Douglas Smith; cousins and grandnieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Smith Sr. and her niece Cathleen Smith.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center, and in particular her aide Nancy, for their dedication, attention and always making her smile and Constellation Health Hospice team for their supportive care.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main St. Trumbull, CT. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT.
Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy Keese to Cambridge Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center, Attn: Recreation Department at 2428 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825. A dedicated team who made her time there stimulating and entertaining.
