Nancy Holecz Tartaro
Nancy Holecz Tartaro, age 87 of Westport, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Born in Bridgeport, she had been a lifelong Fairfield area resident. Nancy enjoyed a rewarding career in medical administration at St. Vincent's Medical Center and for the office of Dr. David Garrell in Fairfield. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at American Legion Post #74 and a former parishioner of St. Emery Church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her cherished family. She will be sadly missed by her five children, Donald R. Husted, Jr. and his wife Marta of Bethany, Kenneth R. Husted and his wife Jane of West Virginia, Linda A. McCracken of Zephyr Hills, FL, Paul M. Husted of Branford and Suzanne M. Tutto and her husband Kenneth of Lebanon, CT; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat Hull and her husband Robert of Stratford, a niece, nephew and a grand-nephew. Nancy was predeceased by her mother, Helen Holecz; her four late husbands, Donald R. Husted, Sr., Edward DeCerbo, James Thomson and James Tartaro; a granddaughter and a grandson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be held privately at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
