Nicholas T. Pecorelli
Nicholas T. Pecorelli, age 91 of Bridgeport, died September 1, 2025 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Rae Crook Pecorelli. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of Santo and Rose DeSabia Pecorelli. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lori Ann Pecorelli, and her fiancé, Ron Skyberg, and his loving companion and caregiver, Judy Bonner. He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for 40 years and retired as a Production Control Supervisor. Nick was a Past Commodore for Ischoda Yacht Club, Norwalk, a life member of Fayerweather Yacht Club, and an Elks member for 25 years, Bridgeport Council #36. He was a retired head usher at Saint Ambrose Church in Bridgeport, a member of the Barnum Festival since 1963, Marshall for the Wing Ding parade, and grand marshal of the 1975 Great Street Parade. He was honored as volunteer of the year in 1978. He also volunteered for Swim Across the Sound, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and Focus golf tournament. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Saint Theresa Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday morning 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
