Nilla Roberto
Nilla R. (Gullotta) Roberto, longtime resident of Monroe, CT, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was 84.
She was born in Stamford, CT, the daughter of Pancrazio and Maria Gullotta. She graduated from Mother of God Academy. She was employed at Sacred Heart University and worked as a payroll supervisor.
She was a member of St. Jude Parish, Monroe, CT. She will be remembered for her big heart, beautiful smile and her sassy attitude.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Leonard Roberto Jr, her son Rick Roberto, her two daughters, Robin (Kevin) Bova of Trumbull, CT, Susan (Kenneth) Kliczewski of Newtown, CT, her cherished grandchildren, Kyle, Jake and Scott Bova and Adam, Nora and Evan Kliczewski. Her sister, Mary Jean (Andrew) Fredette of Medway, MA. Her brother-in-law Richard Roberto of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Carol Roberto. She was also called Auntie by many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to calling hours, Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 3:00-6:00pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher and Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468. Funeral Service to be celebrated, Monday, May 8th at 11:00am at St. Jude Parish, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT.
