Norman Marcus Obituary

Marcus, Dr. Norman
Dr. Norman Marcus, 95, husband of the late Harriet Marcus of Norwalk, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Syria on February 16, 1919, he was the son of the late Ezra and Jamille Marcus.
Dr. Marcus is survived by his son Eric Marcus and his wife Lela, two daughters, Amy Marcus and her husband Harry Coombs and Beth Haughney and her husband Stephen; his sister Virginia Bigio, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, at 1:00 PM graveside in Temple Shalom Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dr. Marcus may be made to: The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405, www.hospice.com.

Thank you Dr Marcus for the help while I was a freshman in Engineering at Norwalk State Tech. Your fun way of using the wombat theory will always be remembered, and your suggestion of using an RPN calculator helped me to achieve by BS degree in mechanical engineering. May you rest in peace.
