Patricia A. Callahan
Patricia A. Callahan, 85, of Shelton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Callahan, Sr. They were married for 50 years. Patricia was born in Jersey City, NJ, March 22, 1936, daughter of the late James and Rose Knight Gallagher. She resided in Shelton for 48 years and worked as a travel agent for American Agency until her retirement in 1992. She was a long-time member of the Monroe Garden Club and was Judge Emeritus of the Connecticut Judges Council for the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut. After retirement, she volunteered at The Childbirth Center at Griffin Hospital. She was also a Reiki Master who enjoyed gardening, water color and basket weaving. She is survived by her children, Martha Limauro and her husband John, Michael J. Callahan, Jr., and Elizabeth DelVecchio and her husband Daniel, and her grandson Douglas Jentzen and his wife Alexandra. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Lowell Gallagher. The family would like to thank Reneita Wilson and Companions & Homemakers for the loving care they provided for Patricia. All services and interment will be private. The James T.
