Patrick Spetrino Obituary
Patrick J. Spetrino, Sr. a longtime resident of Shelton, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2015. He was 71. Born in Bridgeport on May 21, 1944 to Louis and Lena (nee Arpie) Spetrino. Patrick was a dedicated businessman and entrepreneur, starting with Mr. Patrick's Salon in Norwalk and Tiffany's in Bridgeport. He later went on to own and operate several restaurants, The East Village Inn, Pizza Plus and Pizza Factory all located in the Shelton area. Above all else Pat was most passionate about his family. He cherished Sunday dinners, holidays and family vacations. Pat loved his family and his friends. He loved to laugh and his infectious laugh and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Patrick is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years Kathleen (nee Vertucci) Spetrino, beloved children, Kellie Pease and her husband Allen, Stephanie Spetrino and Patrick Spetrino, Jr. , cherished grandchildren, Kayleigh, Alec and Aidan Pease and Christian Kovach. He also leaves behind his dear brother, Louis Spetrino and his wife Angela, sisters-in-law, Alice Spetrino and Patricia Horvath and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Spetrino. To honor Patrick's life family and friends will gather on Wednesday from 5 to 7pm at Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave.Shelton. Committal will be private. Offer condolences online at www.riverviewfh.com.
