Suzanne "D'Amico" Scianna

Susan Scianna, age 91, Shelton entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Spring Village with her loving family by her side.

She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Scianna. Susan was born in Bridgeport on October 26, 1934 daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Delucia) D'Amico.

She worked for Tie Communications for many years until her retirement. Susan enjoyed going to the Shelton Senior Center where she played bingo. Most of all, she cherished cooking for her family, and spending time gathered around the table together.

Susan was the beloved mother of Gary Scianna and Kim O'Connor with her husband Steve Crouse. Loving grandmother of Stephen O'Connor and his wife Kari, Robert O'Connor, Sean Scianna, Kelly Scianna and Derek Scianna. Great grandmother of Joseph and Dean O'Connor, Lucas, Caleb, and Arlene Scianna. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Susan was predeceased by her brothers Anthony, Joseph and Patrick D'Amico. Her funeral service will be private.
