Pauline Mallon Obituary
Pauline Cecelia Mallon, age 95, of Shelton, CT, beloved wife of the late Francis Richard Mallon, a World War II veteran of the 82nd Airborne, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2024 at the Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton, CT, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on January 10, 1929 in the Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Winifred O'Hare Cannon. She is survived by her loving children, Michael Mallon (Deborah), Patrick Mallon (Lynn), Sally D'Souza (Anthony), Mary Hirschbeck, Anthony Mallon (Yoon Joon Choi), Timothy Mallon (Jennifer), and Sean Mallon; her adoring grandchildren Brittany Doughan (Ryan), Christopher (Michelle), Ryan Mallon (Lauren), Patrick Mallon (Elysha), James Mallon (Michaela), Brian Mallon, Steven Mallon (Natasha), Anthony D'Souza (Amy), Francesca Nugent (Connor), Katie Wardowski (Tom), Ryan D'Souza (Lyuba), Jaclyn Scott (Najee), Nikki Carino (Ryan), Monica Bartolomei (Matthew), Mark J. Hirschbeck (Lauren), SaeJin Mallon, Jack Mallon, Dylan Mallon, Noah Mallon, Liam Mallon, and Emmett Mallon; and her precious great-grandchildren Francis, Rory, Declan, Dima, Natalya, Haven, Sadie, Lincoln, Henry, Anthony, Daniel, Joseph, Molly, Seamus, Caroline, Maggie, Grace, Theodore, Meadow, Eli, Ryan, Peyton, and Connor. In addition to her parents and beloved husband Francis, she was predeceased by her cherished grandson Michael Christopher Mallon (Aneta Witoslaw and Alan) and her dear infant great-grandson Matthew Anthony Bartolomei as well as her five siblings, John, James, Mary, Catherine, and Vincent.
A Mass of Roman Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements in care of Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Glenmary Home Missioners (www.glenmary.org).
