Karen, Jeff & Abbie,
Our sincere condolences. You got to see two of our boys born and saw all three play in the stream that bordered our yards. Abbie allowed Laurie and I the occasional date night when sitting for the boys. Jeff and I would provide the manual labor whenever Pete would tackle one of his many projects. We are deeply saddened by his passing. We hope to see you at the Memorial. Our prayers are with you.

To the Burr family,
I had the opportunity to work with Peter while he was working in HR at Vanderbilt. He not only was an advocate for the company in his position as our HR person but he was a true example of kindness, understanding and joy; of which all mankind should represent. I missed him when he retired from company. He will always be in my heart for all of the kind conversations we had just about life in itself. I know this is hard for you Carrie but you have a legacy of good memories to hold on to that Peter left for you and the family...a legacy of what mankind should always represent. My most sincere condolences.

Dear Karen and family - words can't express what it means to lose such a wonderful person. I got to know Pete (and you) through Landfall CERT, the Car Show, and CEN. He was a kind, caring, thoughtful person who departed this part of the journey too soon. Heaven has another great spirit. . .
