Peter James Fusco, age 61, of Shelton went into rest peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 6 years to Lourdes (Espinal) Fusco. Peter was born in New Haven on October 16, 1959, son of the late Ciro and Maureen (Milles) Fusco and was a lifelong Shelton resident. He worked in IT Services at Alphabroder in Bridgeport. Peter was kind, humorous, and a master of the grill. He was the beloved father of Benjamin Ciro Fusco, stepfather of Diego Rodriguez, Monica Rodriguez, and Natalia Rodriguez, and brother of Paul Fusco and his wife Debbie, Laurie Fusco and the late Stacey Fusco. He was also survived by his beloved dogs Tommy and Ellie Mae. A public walk-through visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. On Tuesday, friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton. His burial with military honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
