Peter Labowsky Obituary
Peter J. Labowsky, 93 of Ansonia entered into eternal rest on Thursday Feb 8 at his home. He is the husband of the late Mary H. Kozlowski Labowsky Born in Seymour on April 21,1924 son of the late John and Anna Pelechack Labowsky. He served in the U. S. Navy on the Destroyer USS Sarsfield. Peter is a active parishioner of the Church of the Assumption, serving as a Eucharist Minister for many years visiting the sick and homebound with comfort in conversation. In 1969 Pete started Premium Tool and Die Machine Shop Tool in Milford moving it to Stratford in 1970 and continued the daily operations until only a few years ago. After the death of his wife years later he and Mary Buckley would start traveling the world. Survivors are sons David and his wife Patricia Labowsky of Cheshire ,Brian and his wife Susan Labowsky of Ansonia three grandchildren and six great grandchildren and Mary Buckley of Derby. He is predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-6p.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia on Monday his funeral procession will leave at 9:40 to the Church of the Assumption for a mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial with full Military Honors will be in St. Michaels Cemetery in Derby Donations may be made to the Church in care of the Funeral Home,
