Taxiltaridis, Petros
Petros Taxiltaridis, 65, of Trumbull CT., beloved husband of Vasilia Taxiltaridis passed away at Bridgeport Hospital on Monday March 31st after a five year battle with Alzheimer's. Petros was born in Thessaloniki, Greece to Stavros and Filio Taxiltaridis. He moved to Bridgeport, in 1978. In addition to Vasilia his devoted wife of 41 years Petros's memory will be cherished by his daughter Elena Crosley, her husband Craig Crosley of Fairfield, his son George Taxiltaridis of Bridgeport and the loves of his life his four grandsons Christopher, Peter, Nicholas and George. Petros was always a hard worker and knew how to fix anything. He worked in the roofing and siding business. He also loved gardening and soccer but his favorite thing to do was spend time playing with his grandsons. Friends are invited to go directly to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday at 10am where the Rite of Burial will be officiated by Father Andreas Vithoulkas Presbyter, interment immediately following at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 3, 2014 from 4-7pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport with Trisagion services at 6pm.
