Ralph Edo Obituary
Oct. 24, 1921 - July 2, 2017 Ralph Frank Edo, Sr., age 95, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Florence (Douglas) Edo, entered eternal rest on July 2, 2017. Son of the late Reginald and Rosemary (Preste) Edo was born on October 24, 1921 in Bridgeport. Mr. Edo was a U.S. Army Air Corp and served during WWII. Ralph was an active member and served as an usher for many years at St. Agnes Church in Milford. Mr. Edo was a member of the American Legion Post #196 in Woodmont, former member of the Catholic War Veterans. Ralph was also a member of the Milford Senior Center and the Democratic Town Committee. Mr. Edo is survived by his four children, Reginald Edo (Deborah) of SC, Gloria Giano of North Haven, Ralph Edo, Jr. (Pam Reid) of FL and Douglas Edo (Mary) of Milford and his brother, Salvatore Edo of Milford and eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. His grandson and six brothers and sisters predeceased him. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment to follow in King's Highway Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to a charity of one's choice. To share a memory, please go to www.gregoryfdoylefuneralhome.com.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr Edo my whole life. First he was my grandparents neighbor and friend. The when I bought my grandparents house 17 years ago he became my neighbor and friend! We will miss him dearly!

We will miss our church friend, Ralph, at our celebrations at birthdays, Night affairs, and him sharing as a usher at St. Agnes Parish.
We always made sure he had plenty too eat and a plate to go home with.
Now he is reunited with his wife/friends and at peace. Miss you Ralph.
