Michael, Mark and Marjory,
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you and your families. Your Dad was very special to me while I was growing up. I wish I was there for his Funeral, so we all could have remembered him together.
I was able to go with him on his wild travels while I growing up and remember those days very clear. I learned a lot from "My Uncle Raymond". When I was younger, I was able to spend time with him and enjoyed those days very much. From going scouting in upstate CT, to having him teach me on how to shoot a gun, or even going clamming with him, are memories that I cherished since leaving CT. I enjoyed visiting with him every time I got back to town over the years. Each time I went to see him I always got to check out his guns. That was special! He had a lot of influences on me which has lead to me to become a hunter. I remember the 1st time I went Elk Hunting in Colorado over 14 years ago. I called him several times with excitement while preparing to go the days prior to leaving. When I got back, one of the first calls I made was to him. I also enjoyed working with him.
"Raymond” also taught me so much about being a Carpenter. He was a great guy and I will never forget my "Uncle Raymond" and my Dad's best friend!
Please let everyone know my sympathy goes out to all!
Cousin,
Keith Sabia
